This is the view on one of the opto score switches from the back of the machine. Note the two white spacers holding the opto transmitter and receiver boards from each side. They are too long, creating a big gap between the LED/Photo Transistor and the hole in the black metal bracket. Shorten the spacers such a way that there is a minimum gap. This will very much improve the reliability of score switches..
