No steering,
accelerator - have you initialized the inputs?
Many driving games require input initialization when the
potentiometers or the game board are replaced. This is a simple procedure during
which the game board computer registers the initial values of the steering, accelerator
and brake potentiometers. The computer stores these values in a memory where
these data are retained even when the power is switched off. However on occasion
the data in this memory can get corrupted and cause the malfunction of the
steering, accelerator or brake. Check the operation manual of the particular
game on how to enter "Input Initialization". In some games the
initialization is entered by turning ON the test switch while the service button
is held down. Then follow the instructions on the screen or in the operation
manual.
